Symphony Risk Solutions
Project Details
Symphony Risk Solutions is the next generation, full-service insurance, risk management, and employee benefits advisory firm. They target the risk and human capital needs of upper middle market and “lower Fortune 500” businesses.

The company has locations in San Fransisco, Walnut Creek, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, New York, Atlanta and Vancouver.
In July 2020, I was approached by the Founder and CEO of Symphony Risk Solutions, Michael Marcon, to create a starter website for the company. Symphony Risk was preparing to acquire insurance agencies across the United States and needed a website that provided the basic information about the company. The brand was established and the logo was designed prior to my construction of the website.

After meeting with the Mr. Marcon and gaining some insight into the company and its brand identity, I began brainstorming design elements for the website. Symphony Risk Solutions is named after the idea of consolidating insurance agencies across the country into a single unified brand, much like a chorus in a symphony. My goal was to use this musical theme to its full extent, without making it too "in your face". I used the company's logo to establish a color palette for the website, as well as easy-to-read headline and body text.

I began the project by laying out all my ideas on (digital) paper. Mr. Marcon was clear about what he needed: Who, What, Where. I took this to a deeper level and created pages such as Meet the Management, Contact Us, Products/Services, About, Acquisition, Reach, etc. I also wanted to include Symphony's core values, or pillars as some like to call them. Their goal is to provide a quality differentiated service with transparency that provides results that go above and beyond clients expectations. I created the four pillars on the home page with short explanations of what those values mean to Symphony and how they provide them to their clients. From there, the rest of the copy was edited by Mr. Marcon to ensure accuracy in the details about the company. Below is my initial website design plan. I took this plan and expanded on my ideas as I created the website, but this shows that writing down ideas is always helpful!
